We weigh herbs to ensure consistency and accuracy because volume measurements can be unreliable. Herbs vary widely in size shape and density whether they are whole cut or sifted and even the same plant can differ significantly from batch to batch. Measuring by weight instead of volume gives far more precise measurements. So everyone please get a scale for nourishing herbal infusions. 🤓

Pink Eye Cure 👁️🌿

In this video I share how to create and apply a fresh Chickweed poultice for inflamed, infected, and irritated eyes.

Can’t find any fresh Chickweed? Here’s an alternative recipe below.

Susun Weed’s Healing Wise Chickweed Eye Lotion:

4oz distilled water
4oz witch hazel
1 tbsp Chickweed tincture

Combine all ingredients in a clean jar and shake well. Wet a cotton cloth or cotton ball with lotion and apply to closed eyes for 3 minutes. Discontinue if eyes are sensitive.

This month, I’m answering a reader’s question about how to care for yourself when the world feels overwhelming. Many of us feel exhausted, anxious, or even powerless as we tune into the news or scroll through social media. It can feel impossible to do anything meaningful when everything seems heavy. In this letter, I offer gentle guidance on how to protect your energy, set boundaries, nurture your creativity, and find connection and support, so you can show up fully for yourself and the world.

Learn how to let go of the past, soften self-judgment, and build healthy habits that truly stick through gentle awareness, self-trust, and compassionate discipline.

This month, I’m answering a reader’s question about how to let go of things that no longer serve us and create habits that actually stick. I share ways to trust ourselves, move through setbacks without shame, and set gentle boundaries with the things that drain or distract us. It’s about showing ourselves more grace, noticing our patterns, and practicing the small, daily choices that help us step closer to the version of ourselves that’s already here.

Learn how to let go of the past, soften self-judgment, and build healthy habits that truly stick through gentle awareness, self-trust, and compassionate discipline.
