📆 Monday June 8th from 10-1.30pm is our Birth Stories workshop, (the final one in Glastonbury!).
At the Sacred Birth Centre.

🫶The session is free and is an opportunity to share what feels right from a birth story through a creative process.

The session is beautifully held by The Art of Sarah Slaughter and Samsara Tanner. A gentle, inclusive approach for anyone who has had any type o f birth experience to arrive and flow with what needs to be. The key aim is to use art materials to express a story, no experience is needed, as you will be supported in the process you choose.

In this week's Substack post we explore aspects of postnatal wellbeing and also share why we have created a 'postnatal insights survey' to call on a wide range of experiences about this important part of the perinatal journey.

We are including this topic in our 'My Birth, My Voice' exhibition at the end of September and we would love to hear from you with your experiences please.

We value the birth of the Mother, just as much as we value the birth of the baby 🤍

Journeying through the liminal space of Labour, navigating whatever it is you may have faced, is beyond something to recognise, celebrate, grieve and share with community.

There are so many intricate layers in birth that deserve to be held, witnessed and processed.

We believe that birth stories change culture, heal the relationship we have to our experience, and hold so much value.

This is a poem written by who is often inspired by the unfolding of birth.

If you would like to share your own experience in creative form - whether that be with poetry, art, sewing or crafting - we have the perfect space for you.

Our Birth Stories, Art Workshop is this coming Monday, 8th of June at the Sacred Birth Centre.
