One of the questions I get asked the most is: “What do you use to paint your bath bombs?” ✨

I hand-paint all of them using cosmetic-grade micas.
Mica is a naturally shimmery mineral found in the earth, and the type used for bath products is cosmetic-grade, meaning it’s purified and safely prepared for skin use.

To turn the mica powder into paint, I mix it with rubbing alcohol. The alcohol helps the mica glide on smoothly… and then it completely evaporates as it dries. ✨ Once it’s gone, the beautiful mica colour stays adhered to the bath bomb!

That’s the magic behind all the little painted designs you see. 🫧💕
