TAAF 4 Kids is the pediatric side of The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation (TAAF). Started first as a separate initiative called The Rylan Project--named for legacy VOGM survivor Rylan Craig--TAAF 4 Kids blossomed to encompass pediatric aneurysm, arteriovenous malformation (AVM), and hemorrhagic stroke. oss. We're here to see that no pediatric aneurysm, AVM, or hemorrhagic stroke family ever feels alone.

Introducing: Blake’s Blessings “Show & Tell Café” — Episode 1: About Blake

Looking for a fun, creative way to give back this summer? Join us for the launch of Blake’s Blessings Show & Tell Café — a bi-monthly, at-home fundraiser supporting kids affected by brain aneurysms and AVMs.

Here’s how it works:
With a $5 donation, you’ll receive a printable drink sleeve featuring original art to color, wrap around your favorite coffee or boba, and share online using .

Each sleeve also reveals a piece of Blake’s story — a brave young boy who inspired this movement. With 5 unique designs in total, it’s a meaningful way to collect, create, and connect with your family — all while raising awareness and support.

We’re still smiling from our very first Blake’s Blessings event on 6/12 — an ice cream social fundraiser hosted at 💙

THANK YOU to Dave and all who showed up with open hearts to support kids and families impacted by brain aneurysms and AVMs. Thanks to your generosity (and sweet tooth!), we raised over $3,000 — enough to fund one adaptive bike and a bit more! 

And we’re beyond excited to share: We’ve now funded 3 bikes total! 🎉

Two were donated in loving memory of Sage Schermerhorn, who, like Blake, was lost too soon to an AVM. The outpouring of love from has been incredibly moving — and their generosity will give freedom and joy to two deserving kids.  💙💙💙  

A huge shoutout to the Willuski family for hosting the most joyful, creative booth — you made the day unforgettable! And thank you to Newtown Printing for our awesome Blake’s Blessings shirts!

At TAAF, we stand with the Vascular Birthmarks Foundation in promoting acceptance and raising awareness for vascular anomalies.

Conditions like arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are complex vascular malformations that can affect children, sometimes leading to serious health issues like hemorrhagic stroke.

We honor the stories of those impacted and support efforts to connect families with expert, multidisciplinary care. One of those resources is UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals' Birthmarks & Vascular Anomalies Center, which provides specialized treatment for vascular anomalies, including AVMs.

We’re proud to launch Blake’s Blessings, a brand new pediatric initiative from TAAF—debuting this Pediatric Stroke Awareness Month.

✨ Inspired by 9-year-old Blake Willuski, a joyful, curious, and adventure-loving boy who passed unexpectedly from an undiagnosed AVM, this program turns grief into motion—and love into light.

In 2025, we’re setting a bold goal: 🚲 Fund and deliver 10 adaptive bikes to young survivors of brain aneurysms and AVMs across the U.S.—giving them freedom, confidence, and joy.
