Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College participated in the district level inauguration of vibe 4 wellness,conjointly organized by Ayush Department and National Ayush Mission Keralam on 10/02/2026 from 8 AM onwards at Fort Maidan Palakkad.
Programme details
The programme started with the mass yoga demonstration of students and public at 8 AM. The programme was followed by Yoga dance demonstration by NAM yoga instructor Mrs. Renjitha M and team. After the yoga dance sessions, flash mob of students of Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College was conducted. 11 students from First Professional BAMS were actively participated in the event. Students were accompanied by Dr Sreelekshmi S, Assistant Professor Department of Swasthavritta.
Official inauguration was done by Mrs. M S Madhavikutty IAS, District Collector Palakkad. Welcome speech was given by Dr Sunitha DPM, NAM Palakkad. Dr. Agnus Cleetus, DMO, Ayush addressed gathering and introduced about Vibe 4 wellness campagain.
The programme ended with distribution of medicinal plant saplings and exhibition of food stuffs promoting healthy eating habits

👁️ *Eye Evaluation Camp | Reduce Screen Time, Protect Our Eyes* 🌿

The Department of Shalakya Ta**ra, Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College, in association with Vidyarthi Seva Trust, successfully organized an Eye Evaluation Camp at Karnakiamman Higher Secondary School, Palakkad under the Chathra Drushti Project. This initiative focused on promoting healthy vision among students, addressing the impact of excessive screen time, and encouraging a balanced shift from screen time to green time for better eye health and overall well-being.

NSS volunteers visited Santhigiri Agro Farm at Tamarapadam, a region known for its agricultural richness and rural, cultural, and spiritual heritage, and also explored Seetharkund, an eco-spiritual destination celebrated for its biodiversity and popular among nature lovers and trekkers for exploration activities.
