This morning’s class focused on restoring balance in the body. When balance is off, it can show up as hip or back pain, often extending into the shoulders and neck. Posture shifts—slouching, a closed chest—and this can leave us feeling tired and low in energy.
In Remedial Yoga, we use corrective movements to support changes in both body function and structure. These changes create a strong foundation, allowing the body to move more freely and comfortably—and they stay with us, supporting future practice.
Today’s deeper balancing work brought a noticeable shift. By the end of the class, standing poses felt easier, more supported, and free from strain—a big change from the beginning of the class.
