What is Somatic Therapy? Somatic Therapy is an umbrella term for therapeutic approaches that address emotional trauma and chronic stress through awareness of bodily experience. It is grounded in the understanding that the nervous system holds and expresses unresolved stress responses through physical sensations, tension patterns, and autonomic activation.

Clients may notice medically unexplained pain, persistent muscle tightness, gastrointestinal discomfort, fatigue, or other somatic symptoms that do not fully resolve with medical treatment. In some cases, these experiences can reflect unprocessed trauma or prolonged stress stored in the body.

In my practice, I integrate guided somatic meditation and body-based awareness techniques to support nervous system regulation and trauma resolution. This work is gentle and paced to your capacity, creating safety and embodied self-awareness.

Sessions are available in person at my Miami office or via video link for those who prefer to engage from home.
