I used to think persistence meant knocking on the same door until someone answered.
Now I know wisdom is recognizing when God is telling you to walk away.

For 4 years, I tried to get my foot in the
door in my own town.
The emails were sent.
The follow-ups were done.
The effort was there.
The opportunity? Never came.
I used to wonder what I was doing wrong.
Now I realize I was asking the wrong people for permission.
God was never going to let my purpose be limited by someone’s response to an email.
The next 4 months are about showing up, taking up space, and embracing every opportunity placed in front of me.

And the fact that I get to walk this journey with my daughter makes it even more special. We may disagree on a lot, but one thing is certain - when it comes to business, she stands ten toes down for me.

Thank you for the lessons hidden in the silence. For the slow moments, the unexpected wins, and the strangers who became supporters.
I learned that showing up is half the victory. Even on the days you feel unseen, unsure, and stretched - your presence is still planting seeds you cannot see yet. was one of those planting seasons. Success is not instant - it’s built in the days you almost didn’t show up. And we showed up.

A little reminder to myself 🥹🤍

The last 2 weeks I’ve:
Folded 100 boxes
Sent out 66 orders
Made 300 lip balms
Manufactured 50 body oils, 50 beard oils & balms
Prepared 2 exhibitions
Exhibited at my first trade show at CTICC
Secured 3 collaborations
Applied for funding twice
Employed 2 people part-time
Created content every single day
Officially started working with a social media company to manage our platforms for the next 4 months - a milestone that took a full year of trust building.
I’ll be supporting 3 other businesses over the next few months.
Followed up with all the incredible contacts I made at The Good Life Show.

And I’ve done all of this while being sick for 6 days.

Some days I feel like I’m not doing enough, but when I look back, I realize I’ve moved mountains with what I had.
Entrepreneurship isn’t glamorous every day. It’s showing up when you’re tired, uncertain, and overwhelmed.
Today, I’m choosing to be proud of myself. Not because I’ve arrived, but because I refused to quit. 🤍🙏

Some days, everything that could go wrong does.

The plans fail. The stress piles up. The motivation disappears. The weight feels heavier than usual.

But you show up anyway.

Not because it’s easy, but because your dreams still deserve your effort, even on the hard days.
