This Mandela Day, our practice is collecting dog and cat food for the Benoni SPCA, and we’d love your support!

If you’re visiting the practice over the next few days, please consider bringing along a bag, tin, or pouch of dog or cat food to donate. Every contribution, big or small, will help provide much-needed care and nourishment for animals waiting for their forever homes.

Alongside her is Sr Gentz, our Practice Manager, who oversees the daily operations of the practice while also bringing her nursing expertise to the team. Her leadership, organisation and commitment help ensure that our practice runs smoothly and that both staff and patients are well supported.

Together, they form a strong team that helps maintain the high standard of care we strive to provide.

🌻 March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 🌻

Endometriosis affects approximately 1 in 10 women of reproductive age, and it is more than "bad period pain.” It is a chronic condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, often causing significant pain and inflammation.

Common symptoms may include:
💛 Severe menstrual cramps that interfere with daily life
💛 Chronic pelvic pain
💛 Heavy or irregular periods
💛 Pain during or after in*******se
💛 Painful bowel movements or urination during menstruation
💛 Fatigue
💛 Difficulty falling pregnant

Debilitating pain is NOT normal, and should not be ignored.

This March we want to raise awareness, encourage early diagnosis, and remind you that your pain deserves to be taken seriously 💛

If you or someone you love is experiencing these symptoms, please don’t ignore them. Early diagnosis and appropriate management can make a significant difference in quality of life.
