Meet Hadassah — a gentle presence in our herd, carrying a spirit of calm strength and quiet knowing. Like her name, she echoes a story of courage “for such a time as this.”

In the book of Esther, we are reminded that we are placed exactly where we are meant to be, for a purpose greater than ourselves: “for such a time as this.” (Esther 4:14)

Here at Selah Cottage, Hadassah and her herd are part of a deeper invitation — not just to visit, but to pause, to breathe, and to be met right where you are. Horses have a way of sensing what words cannot express, gently guiding us back to stillness, truth, and healing.

Our 'Whispers of the herd' horse sessions as an add on at Selah cottage - offer guests staying at our Cottage an opportunity to step into that sacred space. No performance, no pressure — just connection and healing.
