My name is Sr. Brenda Lebitsa — a proud mother, leader, educator, and woman who shows up powerfully in every space.
From serving on the Universitas Hospital Board (2003) and being a Style Lady of the Year Finalist, to receiving SALGA Recognition Awards for excellence, graduating with advanced qualifications at the University of the Free State in 2009 (proudly celebrated by Prof Jonathan Jansen), and acting as Provincial Executive Officer where my team earned an Award for Excellent Performance.
I served as SGB Chairperson while my first born daughter was Headgirl — one of the most beautiful seasons, watching her lead and distribute encouragement + small gifts to her matric class. Today my heart is full as my second born, Tshwanelo Lebitsa, follows in my footsteps in her final year at UFS School of Nursing — the baton is being passed beautifully 💕
In clinic I examine toddlers while letting them play with the stethoscope — turning fear into trust. Whether speaking on Feminine Hygiene & Pap smears at elegant events, delivering health education in the Supreme Court, or sharing on radio, I remain a bold voice and advocate for women’s and children’s health.
And yes… I’m also a passionate DJ (DJ BREE) — because leadership includes joy, balance, and owning every side of who I am.
This is my legacy — in scrubs, in heels, on stage, and on the dancefloor.
