On Saturday, a client came to see me in absolute panic. She believed she had either misplaced or someone had stolen the bangle her grandmother left her after she passed away. It was the only keepsake she had to remember her grandmother by, making it completely understandable why she was so distressed.
To make matters worse, someone in her family had told her that this bangle was her only form of spiritual protection, and that if it was lost or stolen, her grandmother's protection would disappear as well.
I'm incredibly grateful that I was able to channel where the bracelet was, and thankfully it was found.
But this experience highlighted something important that I feel needs to be said.
Please don't believe these kinds of fear-based messages.
The love, guidance, and protection of those who have crossed over are not contained in a piece of jewellery, a photograph, or any physical object. Those items may hold beautiful memories and sentimental value, but they are not what connects you to your loved ones.
Our loved ones in Spirit continue to watch over us because of love, not because we still possess something that once belonged to them. They also understand that life happens. Things get misplaced, damaged, or even stolen. They would never withdraw their love or protection because of the loss of a treasured possession.
Love does not live in an object. Love lives in the bond that can never be broken.
Don't allow fear to replace faith, and don't let anyone convince you that your connection to Spirit depends on a physical item.
