Dear Sacred Journeys Community,
As stewards of the Teachings and Ceremonies of the Twisted Hairs Lineage here on the African continent, we hold a responsibility that we approach with care and accountability. This work has a meaningful impact on peopleโs lives, and for that reason, we place strong emphasis on integrity, preparation, and ethical grounding in all that we offer.
Within this Lineage, Ceremonial Facilitation is not something one steps into casually. It comes through years of personal work, apprenticeship, and ongoing accountability, and is only undertaken when it is formally recognized by oneโs teachers.

It has recently come to our attention that a former student is publicly offering Pipe and Sweat Lodge Ceremonies, Teachings, and Shamanic Healing while representing themselves as connected to or authorized within the Twisted Hairs Lineage.
We would like to clarify that, although this individual has participated in Teachings and Ceremonies at Sacred Journeys for their own personal development, they have not completed any training, authorization, or recognition to facilitate or teach these practices.
While we respect each personโs right to follow their own path and wish them well, our role is to be clear about what we do and do not stand behind. We share this to provide clarity regarding ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต to this sacred Lineage. We offer these Teachings and Ceremonies as part of a personal path of learning and development, and we encourage everyone to approach all ceremonial work with discernment and respect for the traditions and responsibilities involved.
Our commitment remains the same as it has always been: to be a beacon of hope and light for those who wish to grow, heal and evolve.
With respect and clarity,
Lou Worldweaver & Laurel Weaving Willow
