🌧️🌿 A little rain, a little peace, and a whole lot of magic at Willow & Sage...

Sitting outside on a Saturday afternoon, enjoying the beautiful rain, and thinking how incredibly blessed we are to have this little piece of paradise. ❤️

There is just something about the smell of rain, the fresh air and the peaceful surroundings that makes you want to sit a little longer, pour another cup of coffee and forget about the busy world for a while.

And this is exactly what we want to share with you. 🦋

Life certainly runs away with you when you’re busy! 💛 Work has been absolutely crazy, but this thank-you deserves its moment.

To my beautiful daughter: Jazel De Vrye and her friend Chantel thank you for putting together such a special birthday celebration for Brenchia and me at our very own **Willow & Sage**.

It was supposed to be a surprise… but keeping a party secret when it’s happening right here was a little ambitious! 😂 So I ended up having the best time helping her set up our own “surprise” party. She still did most of the work—and what a labour of love it was!

From hand-painting giant Rubik’s cubes to turning my favourite ’80s bands into posters, she put thought, time and so much heart into every detail. We got to celebrate with family and friends in a place that already means so much to us. 🪩🎶

**And that is the heart of what we want to offer you at Willow & Sage.**

A relaxed afternoon where friends and family can laugh, open gifts, play a few games, share recipes and dish out enough kitchen advice to keep the bride cooking until at least next Sunday! 🌿🥂

Our Kitchen Tea options for a maximum of 30 guests:

🌿 VENUE ONLY – R4 000

- Exclusive use of the venue for 5 hours
- Bring your own food and drinks
- Do your own décor and setup
- Perfect for that aunt with a storeroom full of decorations and a glue gun she is not afraid to use! 😂

🌸 VENUE WITH SIMPLE DÉCOR – FROM R7 500

- Exclusive use of the venue for 5 hours
- Simple décor according to your chosen theme and colours
- Setup before the function
- Final pricing depends on your décor, flowers and any special requests

🥂 THE FULL KITCHEN TEA – FROM R18 000

For a maximum of 30 guests:

- Exclusive use of the venue for 5 hours
- Simple themed décor
- Your choice of canapés, a beautiful salad with fresh rolls, or a light lunch
- Crockery and glassware
- Two friendly helpers
- Setup and cleanup afterwards

Because the bride and her mom should end the Kitchen Tea with a glass in their hands — not a dishcloth and a black refuse bag! 😂🥂

🌿 Our Kitchen Teas are a private venue experience, which means the space is exclusively yours for the celebration.

No strangers trying to order lunch between the gift table and the bride’s games — just your own people, your own laughter and probably one aunt asking if there is more coffee! 😂

A busy restaurant is always an option, of course… but then you may be competing with waiters, other guests, a baby who has only just fallen asleep, and somebody at the next table laughing louder than the maid of honour! 😉

At Willow & Sage, we would rather keep the focus exactly where it belongs — on the bride and her special day.

🌦️ And if the weather decides to arrive without an invitation, nobody needs to panic!

We have a cosy indoor restaurant area with a bar, and as unpredictable as South African weather can be, we are just as quick with Plan B. The celebration simply moves indoors! 😂🥂

Here, Granny can share her secret recipe, the aunties can debate whose potato salad really is the best, and the friends can discover who actually knows the bride best.

And naturally, there will always be that ONE gift wrapped with enough sticky tape to hold a small house together! 🎁😂

✨ Want to add something extra?

We can help arrange anything from a musician playing soft background music to something a little playful and cheeky that will make the bride blush — tastefully, of course — and perhaps even make Granny giggle. 😉

Every celebration is quoted according to your chosen theme, menu and special requests.

Premium or out-of-season flowers such as lilies, proteas and other special floral requests, as well as additional extras, may affect the final price and will be quoted separately.

Want die bruid en haar ma behoort aan die einde van die kombuis-tee ’n glasie in die hand te hê—nie ’n skottelgoedlap en ’n swartsak nie! 😂🥂

🌿 Ons kombuis-tee is ’n private venue-ervaring, sodat julle die ruimte eksklusief vir julle funksie kan geniet. Geen vreemde gaste wat tussen die geskenke deur probeer bestel nie—net julle eie groep, julle eie lag en dalk net een tannie wat vra of daar nog koffie is! 😂
