Fermented vegetables provide an outstanding source of probiotics that fuel the bacteria in your microbiome to fight against daily offenders. Through lactose-fermentation, many beneficial enzymes, b-vitamins, omega 3 fatty acids and probiotic bacteria strains are created that promote gut health. Maṇipūra does all the work so that you only need to spend a minute a day to achieve results. Maṇipūra gut shots bring you a variety of natural bacterial strains all in one shot to improve immune function, inhibit harmful bacteria, reduce cholesterol, promote good bacteria, and promote anti fungal activity. What goes into Maṇipūra:

Maṇipūra gut shots use an old and traditional fermentation method. We ensure the optimum environment and temperatures in a fermentation vessel to promote lactic acid bacteria growth while the vegetables ferment in salted water for a minimum of 60 days. After this time, we bottle and refrigerate it to slow down fermentation. Maṇipūra contains no starter cultures like vinegar. It stays fresh for 4–6 months and should be consumed within 4 weeks after opening. Some gut shots may settle and become part transparent. If a white film settles on top, don't worry and simply skim it off. Keep refrigerated ones opened. Maṇipūra makes 2 different ayurvedic inspired gut shots. All of them require time and love. Red warming shots:
Filtered water, cabbage, beetroot, cauliflower, fresh ginger, fresh turmeric, Himalayan salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, peri peri

Orange balancing earthy shots:
Filtered water, cabbage, carrot, turnip, jalapeño, Himalayan salt, fresh turmeric

How does it taste? It tastes sharp but pleasant with no lingering or garlic aftertaste. Dosage:
Maṇipūra is available in a 500 ml glass bottle for R129. This is equivalent to ± 10 shots. A single dosage is 1 to 2 shots a day on an empty stomach and before a meal. Average shot size: up to 50 ml per shot. About the name Maṇipūra:
People in India believe that health and wellness depend on a holistic balance between the body, mind, and spirit. Ayurveda and Ayurvedic medicine formed as a result of this belief. The elements of air, fire, water, earth, and space exist all around us. In Ayurveda, the elements manifest in the body as three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The doshas influence the creation, maintenance, and destruction of bodily tissues along with assimilation and elimination. The meditation practices of Hinduism use chakras as focal points. According to tradition, Maṇipūra is the third primary chakra. Maṇipūra connects with fire and transformation above the navel in the solar plexus. It rules digestion and metabolism. When you stimulate this area, digestion, elimination, and function of the pancreas, kidney, and adrenals improve. When the energy here is weak, it results in incompletely digested food, thoughts, and emotions, and is a source of toxicity.
