It's Porcini season!

Foraging is another one of my passions. The first rains in the Cape certainly came with a bang! Fortunately our bees were safe and how lovely to have our dams and rivers filling (and the mushrooms popping up all over again!)

Time spent in a forest is always good time! 🌳

We are 5years old!!!!!!!
Growing every day and thankful for it all!

After winning 'Best Bottle On Show' at Africa Apimondia, our last award ceremony, we decided to bow out of entering the awards. We were thankful to win all 4 local competitions we entered and be commended in the UK.

Definitely some super special Cape Citrus honey that our girls produce!!!

Thank you for being part of our journey. The more our business grows, the more bees we can host and well, by now, we all know how crucially important and special they are!!

Here's to the next 5...It really is an honour to work alongside nature and create this beautiful, mutually beneficial environment with our Bees!!! 🌸🐝🍯

Tokai Forest Fires:
What started as a fire in our local forest, spread over Silvermine and across the mountains to Noordhoek, Fish Hoek, Muizenberg and Lakeside.

We are in awe of our firefighting teams and helicopters who battled relentlessly against this mammoth force of nature.

Thank you to our beekeeper, Clay, for jumping in and getting donated supplies over to the Newlands fire depot and for being on standby to assist with bakkie and trailer for any evacuations.

How you can help:
-Please drop off bottles of water, energy drinks and bars at the Lakeside or Newlands fire stations for our fire fighters.
-Please consider donating to the Cape of Goodhope SPCA who are on standby and waiting for all the clear to go in and rescue whatever wildlife they can. Alternatively please drop off Silbecor wound ointment, blankets, bandages, petfood and water at the TNCW offices at Tokai Library.

For those that visit the mountain, once it's cleared, please report any injured animals to the Cape of Good Hope SPCA: 0833261604.

Thank you to the City of Cape Town for the amazing work done! A city at work within itself.

Packing from day to night to get this one finished!

This was a special request bottle for year end corporate gifting from an accounting firm in Durban.

We had these specially sourced re-usable jars sandblasted with the company logo and love the way they came out!

It's great to see big corporate companies like this also passionate about bees and what they do for the planet. It's orders like these that help sustain us to do our bit in saving the bees.

Meet the family...Part 2.

Our 'Sonshine'.

The next member of our little family is our 12 year old son, Ethan.

Filled with a passion for life and rugby. He is our family comedian. Always coming with a joke or a tease. Helping out with his little sister when we are working over time. The best big brother ever and one of our best friends.

Our bright shining light (and possible future Springbok 💚💛).

This business is not only our livelihood but also our passion. It takes a lot of hard work running a business and raising kids well but we love what we do and what we are enabled to do for our children.
