What was last night about.....

So anyone who knows me, knows that I am a humanitarian activist and a warrior at heart and I love celebrating achievements, especially when it's for the good of humanity and transforming lives.

So when it involves family, I kind of have to put some more effort into the celebratory moments. Here goes......

A huge congratulations to my brother in law, Imraan Soomra- husband to my baby sister, and just all-around humble genius - just launched his book "The Path I Didn't Plan". And let me tell you, it's a wild ride - almost as wild as trying to get him to tell a joke at family gatherings.

But seriously, "The Path I Didn't Plan" is an amazing read - and quite humbling from his journey from corporate high-flyer to giving back and transforming lives.

We made the cut to this prestigious event, his book launch - and he had a few, actually alot of his audience (by the way, a total mixture of corporates, family and friends) having to reach out for some tissues.

Imraan's been through some stuff (you know, just the usual corporate grind and life curveballs 😅), but he's come out the other side with some seriously inspiring insights.

This book's like a chat with a wise, witty friend who's got life sorted (mostly, haha).

I really don't want to spoil the read but a snippet: "The Path I didn't Plan" is a thought-provoking memoir that takes readers on a journey from conventional achievement to discovering deeper meaning in life.

If you're feeling stuck or just need a good story, this book's your jam.

Let me also add that the book's vibrant yellow cover, featuring an archway symbolising a new path, captures the essence of it's message: embracing unplanned journeys towards meaningful living with faith and spirituality at its core.
