Soulful Sunday Card of the Week: Perfume of Sophia

This week is about not forcing the answer.

Sometimes we become so desperate to know what happens next or what decision we should make that we keep going over the same thing in our minds. One minute it feels like a definite yes, the next it feels like a no. And the more we try to work it out, the less clear everything becomes.

This card reminds us that not everything needs to be known right now.

There are times when we need to act and there are times when we need to allow things to unfold a little more before we can see them clearly. That doesn't mean doing nothing. It means doing what you can do today, without trying to control everything that comes after it.

If you've been feeling uncertain about something, come back into your body rather than spending more time in your head. Go for a walk. Get outside. Breathe. Move your body. Meditate. Do something that brings you back into the present moment.

Because sometimes clarity doesn't come from thinking harder. It comes when we stop pushing for it.

There is also something important here about trusting your own discernment. When the time is right, you will know what feels right for you. You don't need to force yourself into certainty simply because you're uncomfortable with not knowing.

So this week, ask yourself: What actually needs my attention today... and what am I trying to solve before I have enough information to solve it?

Deal with what is in front of you. Allow the rest some space.

Your answers will come.

Affirmation:
I trust myself to recognise the answer when the time is right.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week: T’akshashila
Angel of the Mineral Realm

This week’s card asks us to look at the natural world a little differently.

We tend to think of life as the things that breathe, grow, move and reproduce. A tree is alive. An animal is alive. We are alive...but a stone? A crystal? A mountain?

This card challenges that separation.

For thousands of years, many ancient cultures understood the natural world as something we are in relationship with - not something separate from us. The earth beneath our feet, the minerals within it, the plants, animals, water and ourselves are all part of the same interconnected system.

And interestingly, minerals are quite literally part of us. Our bodies depend on iron, magnesium, zinc, copper and many other minerals to function. The technology we use every day also relies heavily on the mineral world. We are far more connected to it than we realise.

The message this week is to become more conscious of that relationship.

Spend some time outside. Pick up a stone that catches your attention. Hold a crystal if you have one. Notice its weight, temperature, texture and how it feels in your hand.

You don't have to force an experience or decide what it "means." Just become still enough to notice.

Perhaps one of the things we are being asked to remember is that nature isn't simply something around us. We are nature too.

If you'd like, see this as a sign that today is a day to connect with the earth - you never know what he universe has in store for you! Surprise surprise! 😉

Affirmation:
I honour my connection to the Earth and all that she holds.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week: Mistakes

This week’s card is a reminder that making a mistake does not mean that you have failed.

We can be incredibly hard on ourselves when we get something wrong. We replay what we should have said, what we should have done differently, the decision we shouldn't have made. Sometimes we hold ourselves to a standard that we would never expect from someone we love.

But we are human and we are going to get things wrong.

Mistakes are part of how we learn, how we grow and very often how we discover what we actually need. There is also something important in the wording of this card:

“Let me always take care of the inner child so he or she feels loved no matter what.”

For me, this is really about the way we speak to ourselves when things go wrong.
So much of our reaction to making a mistake can come from an older part of ourselves … the part that learnt that getting something wrong meant being criticised, disappointing someone, being embarrassed or somehow not being good enough.

Instead of punishing that part of yourself again maybe this is an opportunity to respond differently.

I made a mistake. What can I learn from it? What can I do differently next time? And can I still love myself while I work through it?

Take responsibility where responsibility is needed but don't turn a mistake into a judgement of who you are.

Learn from it - Make the adjustment. And then allow yourself to move forward.

Affirmation: I give myself permission to be human, to learn from my mistakes and to move forward with greater wisdom.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week: Great & Full

I think this card is speaking to something that almost all of us experience from time to time.

We spend so much of our lives looking ahead. Waiting for the next milestone / opportunity. Even the next pay cheque. We quietly tell ourselves that once we get there, we'll finally feel settled, fulfilled or at peace.

But what if that feeling isn't waiting for us somewhere in the future?

The message of Great and Full is not that we should stop dreaming or stop working towards the life we want. It's reminding us that abundance begins long before our circumstances change.

True abundance isn't measured by how much we own, how successful we appear or how many things we manage to achieve. It's a way of experiencing life.

When we become consumed by what we don't yet have, we often lose sight of everything that is already present. We overlook the people who love us, the strengths we've developed, the challenges we've already overcome and the simple moments that quietly make up a beautiful life.

Gratitude has a remarkable way of shifting our perspective. Not because it magically changes our circumstances but because it changes where we place our attention. And where attention goes, energy flows!

This card also speaks about letting go of attachment.

We can absolutely have dreams and intentions. We can work hard and hope for wonderful things. But when our happiness becomes completely dependent on one particular outcome, we often create unnecessary suffering for ourselves.

Sometimes life unfolds differently to the picture we had in our minds. Sometimes it unfolds in ways we could never have imagined.

This week, instead of asking yourself, "What is still missing?" Lets ask "What in my life have I stopped noticing?"

You might discover that your life is already far fuller than you've been giving it credit for.

Affirmation: I choose to appreciate the abundance already present in my life while remaining open to all that is still to come.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week: Our Lady Who Prevents Interference

Sometimes, just as we begin to grow, it can feel as though everything becomes harder. Old fears resurface or unexpected challenges appear. People might even misunderstand us. We can find ourselves questioning the very path we know our heart is calling us towards.

It’s easy to wonder whether we are doing something wrong.
This card gently reminds us that growth often shines a light on everything that no longer belongs.

Life contains both love and fear, courage and uncertainty and support and resistance. But beneath all of these changing experiences is something that never changes.

Love.

The deeper part of you already knows this.

Rather than becoming distracted by every obstacle or pulled into fear, this message invites you to keep your attention on the light you are becoming. You don’t need to fight every challenge that appears. You just need to remember who you are.

Trust that the love guiding your life is greater than any fear attempting to distract you.

Continue taking the next right step and choosing kindness… and above all, choosing LOVE. Not because life will suddenly become free of challenges but because love is always stronger than anything that tries to stand in its way.

This week, allow yourself to feel protected. Not because nothing difficult will happen but because you don't have to face life's challenges alone. The more deeply you anchor yourself in love, the less power fear has to pull you away from the life you are here to live.

Affirmation: I choose love over fear. I trust that I am guided, protected and supported as I continue walking my path.

Card of the Week: The Snow Shepherdess

Have you been feeling as though life has come to a standstill?

If you’ve been been waiting for an answer/opportunity or just for something to change, it’s easy to believe that nothing is happening or working for us. When we're in these seasons of waiting, it's easy to believe that nothing is happening. We begin to doubt ourselves or wonder if we've somehow missed our chance.

This week's card reminds us that appearances can be deceiving.

In nature, winter can look lifeless. The trees are bare, the ground is quiet and everything seems dormant. Yet beneath the surface, life is preparing for spring. Roots continue to grow. Seeds quietly wait. Nothing has stopped it’s just unfolding in its own time.

Life often works in the same way.

There are moments when we desperately want to hold on to what was, believing that if we let go we might lose everything. But some endings are not here to punish us, they are creating space for something that could not arrive while our hands were still full.

The Snow Shepherdess gently reminds us that we do not need to force life to unfold. We cannot rush healing, relationships, opportunities or our own personal growth. So much of life happens quietly, long before we are able to see the results.

This week, if you find yourself feeling discouraged, ask yourself:
- Am I judging my life only by what I can currently see?
- What if something beautiful is already unfolding behind the scenes?

Sometimes faith is not believing everything will happen exactly as we imagined, it’s trusting that life is still moving, even when we can’t yet see where it’s leading us.
Allow yourself to soften your grip and trust the timing. Keep showing up. Keep your heart open.

What seems like an empty season today may one day become the beginning you were unknowingly being prepared for.

Affirmation: I trust that life is unfolding in its own perfect timing.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week – Metal Monkey
Let Go of Control

This week's card is a gentle reminder that not everything in life can be controlled... and perhaps it was never meant to be.

When we feel uncertain, it's natural to tighten our grip. We try to plan every outcome, solve every problem and anticipate every possibility, believing that if we can just control enough, we will finally feel safe.
But control often comes from fear, while trust comes from peace.

This card invites us to loosen our grip on the things we were never meant to carry alone.

Perhaps you've done everything you can. You've made the decision, had the conversation, done the healing or taken the first step. There comes a point where constantly analysing, worrying or trying to force the outcome no longer serves you.

Instead, it simply steals your peace.

That doesn't mean giving up or becoming passive. It means recognising the difference between what is yours to do and what is no longer yours to control.
Sometimes life unfolds in ways we could never have planned or the detour becomes the path. Sometimes what feels like a delay is quietly preparing us for something we couldn't yet see.

This week also encourages you to simplify: Where have you been making life harder than it needs to be? What can you release, delegate or stop carrying? Not everything deserves your energy.

As you let go of the need to control every detail, you create space for clarity, wisdom and new opportunities to emerge.

This week, ask yourself:
• What am I trying to control that is beyond my influence?
• Where would trusting life bring me more peace?
• What can I release so that I have more energy for what truly matters?

Take a deep breath. Trust yourself. Trust the timing of your life.

And remember... sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply allowing life to unfold.

Affirmation:
I release the need to control every outcome. I trust myself, I trust life's timing, and I welcome what is unfolding with peace and an open heart.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week: Amulet of Kurukulla

This week’s card speaks of protection, transition and trusting who you are becoming.

There are times when we are no longer fully connected to the past but not yet settled into the new. This in-between space can feel uncomfortable and uncertain, but it does not always mean something is wrong. Sometimes it is part of your spiritual growth.

The Amulet of Kurukulla reminds you to protect your energy while you move through change.

Be mindful of the people, environments and patterns that leave you feeling weakened or unsettled. Honour your limits. Step back where necessary. Protection is not fear; it is conscious self-respect.

This card also asks you to notice the stories your mind is creating. Discomfort is not always danger. Uncertainty does not mean you are lost. Not every thought needs to be believed.

Perhaps you have a crystal, piece of jewellery, prayer or meaningful object that helps you feel grounded. Let it become a reminder of your own strength and the spiritual support around you.

This week, ask yourself:
• What am I ready to release?
• Where do I need stronger energetic boundaries?
• What helps me feel grounded and safe within myself?

You do not need to rush your transformation. Rest when needed, listen inwardly and trust that this transition is taking you somewhere meaningful.

Affirmation: I protect my energy with wisdom and love. I trust the changes unfolding within me and move through them with courage and grace.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week - Spring

This week's card is Spring – a beautiful reminder that every ending quietly carries the seed of a new beginning.

Spring is the season of renewal. After the stillness of winter, nature doesn't force itself to bloom it just responds to the right conditions. Little by little, new life begins to emerge.

If you've spent months processing, healing, waiting or wondering what comes next. Or felt like very little has been happening on the surface. Yet beneath it all, something has been growing, then this card reminds us that periods of stillness are never wasted. They prepare us for what comes next.

Spring invites us to release what no longer fits, to let go of old stories, fears and old versions of ourselves that we've quietly outgrown. It encourages us to step beyond what feels familiar and trust that new opportunities often lie just outside our comfort zone.

Sometimes renewal doesn't arrive with a dramatic life change. Sometimes it begins with one brave decision. One new habit. One conversation. One small step in a different direction.

This week, ask yourself:
• What part of my life is asking to be renewed?
• What am I ready to leave behind?
• Where is life inviting me to step into something new?

As we move into this new week, trust that you don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. Growth rarely happens all at once. It unfolds one season at a time.

Affirmation
I welcome new beginnings with an open heart. I trust that every step forward is guiding me towards the life I am ready to grow into.

30/06/2026

Capricorn Full Moon brings a beautiful opportunity to pause and take stock.

Capricorn is not interested in empty promises, quick fixes or pretending that something is working when it isn’t. It asks us to look honestly at the life we are building.

What is asking for more of your commitment? Where have you been carrying too much alone? What habits, responsibilities or beliefs are keeping you stuck in a version of your life that you have already outgrown?

A Full Moon brings things into clearer view. It can illuminate what needs to be completed, released or simply faced with greater maturity.

But this does not have to mean making a dramatic decision overnight. Sometimes the most powerful shift is simply admitting the truth to yourself.

Capricorn reminds us that growth is not always glamorous. It is often found in the small, steady choices that create a stronger foundation over time.

This Full Moon may be asking you to clear the decks a little and release what is draining your energy. Maybe it’s time to stop carrying what was never yours to carry.

This moon is an opportunity to become intentional about where your time, attention and energy are going. And perhaps most importantly, to remember that you do not need to have your entire future mapped out. You only need to be willing to take the next responsible, soul-aligned step.

Questions to sit with:
- What is no longer serving the life I am trying to build?
- Where am I resisting a necessary change because it feels uncomfortable?
- What do I need to release so that I can move forward with greater clarity?

Affirmation:
I release what no longer supports my growth. I trust myself to build a life that is steady, honest and aligned.
