What made you want to study aesthetics?
“I struggled with my skin during high school, which did take a toll on my confidence. I was always on a mission to understand my skin and find ways to improve it, and when I eventually achieved healthier skin, I noticed such a big difference in how confident I felt. That experience made me realise how much our skin can affect the way we feel about ourselves, and it motivated me to want to help other people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin too.”
What treatments intrigue you the most?
“I’m most intrigued by skin treatments that focus on improving overall skin health and long-term results. I love learning about the science behind different treatments and products and understanding how they work within the skin. I believe that healthy skin is a journey, and even when results take time, I find it so rewarding to see the skin gradually improve and help someone achieve their healthier looking and feeling skin.”
What do you love about working at Silk?
“Ever since I walked into Silk Aesthetics Studio, I’ve been welcomed with open arms and made to feel like part of the family since day one. I love that it’s such a comfortable and supportive environment where I’m able to learn, grow and constantly develop my skills. I’m really grateful to be surrounded by people who are so passionate about what they do and to be able to grow within an industry that I love.”
Any future plans?
“I’d love to continue growing within the aesthetics industry, gaining more knowledge and experience, and building my confidence as a Dermal Aesthetician. I’m excited to keep learning, developing my skills, and hopefully have the opportunity to travel, experience different parts of the world, and learn from different people along the way. Ultimately, I just want to keep growing both personally and professionally and make a positive difference in my clients’ lives.”
