Creating a social and accessible parkrun group for the Green Point, Cape Town area. Every Saturday at 8.00am unless stated otherwise (cancellations announced on our Website, Facebook and Instagram page). The start is just inside the East gate Entrance of the Green Point Urban Park. Green Point parkrun is a free and timed 5km route welcome to anyone of
any fitness level. Don't forget to bring your barcode, printed, scanned on phone or smartwatch QR code in order to receive an official result. All you need to do is register on the parkrun website at http://www.parkrun.co.za/register/form/ and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with a barcode. Once you have registered with parkrun, the barcode that you receive can be used at any parkrun in the world. Green Point parkrun is a volunteer-based event. Once you have run 15 parkruns, please consider volunteering once. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short leash and one dog per person. No bicycles are allowed on the course.
