This body has been bent by life.
We’re taught to see bodies only when they are upright, toned, and performing.
By carrying.
By surviving.
By showing up even when it was tired.
We’re taught to see bodies only when they are upright, toned, performing.
Being out of shape does not mean being out of worth.ing.
A body catching its breath.
A body pausing instead of pushing.
A body that does not owe anyone strength today.
Out of shape does not mean out of worth.
Soft does not mean weak.
Resting does not mean failing.
Today’s grounding practice:
Notice the body without correcting it.
Without sucking in.
Without standing taller for approval.
Let the body be where it is.
It knows how to hold you.
You don’t need to reshape yourself to deserve care.
You already belong here.
