Living with high cholesterol or cardiovascular disease?

The AZURE-OUTCOMES clinical study is exploring a potential new oral treatment designed to help lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart-related events in people living with ASCVD or at risk of ASCVD-related complications.

Unlike many current PCSK9 inhibitor treatments that are given as injections, this study is investigating an oral tablet taken once daily alongside your regular cholesterol-lowering medication.

Participants may receive:
✔ Access to a potential new treatment
✔ Regular health monitoring and support
✔ The opportunity to contribute to future cardiovascular care and research

Today is World Hypertension Day

Hypertension, often called the “silent killer,” can damage your body without obvious symptoms. Left unmanaged, high blood pressure can increase the risk of serious health complications such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney disease.

Know your numbers:
✔️ Normal blood pressure is generally below 140/90 mmHg
⚠️ Readings of 180/110 or higher require urgent medical attention

Simple lifestyle changes can make a big difference:
🥗 Reduce salt and processed foods
🏃 Aim for at least 150 minutes of exercise each week
🩺 Go for regular blood pressure screenings, especially if you are over 40
