Some beautiful white Ash love flutes available. This tough hardwood is resilient to climate change and hard to break! Not an easy wood to sand smooth but once smooth, it’s feels like silk. It also has intriguing markings under the grain which you see from different angles depending on the light😊

My boetie makes Bansuri flutes, he brought over one to try out. Jeez I love the sound of this style flute, that splitting edge and breathiness dancing with each other. Quite a difficult flute to master! It’s going to take me a while to feel more relaxed holding it and getting that sweet sound on the edge without sounding too breathy! Looking forward to learning this style flute. And Dave is making some really magical ones, so when he’s ready to part with one or two I shall speak😁
