Have you ever looked at your own life and realized you’re operating completely on autopilot?
A few years back, I stopped and looked closely at my own reality. It wasn’t success or achievement I saw. It was pure autopilot.
I was exhausted, irritable, inflamed, and frazzled. My nervous system had essentially become a pit bull on guard duty twenty-four/seven - jumping at the smallest sound, reading every room, and picking up everyone’s feelings while deciding they were mine to fix.
I didn’t recognize or even feel like myself anymore.
When I started talking honestly with other women, I realized a heartbreaking truth: I wasn't alone. So many of us are functioning, coping, and holding everything together - smiling, performing strength, and saying “I’m fine” - while running on absolute empty.
We get so used to just getting through the day that we stop asking if this is actually how we want to live.
There is a massive difference between surviving and living. We can become so good at playing the role that we completely forget who we are underneath it.
If this resonates with you, I want to invite you into a safe space to unpack this. I just launched the very first episode of my new podcast series, The Un-Patterned Woman.
In this opening episode, we look at the masks we wear to belong, why we fall into self-abandonment, and how we can begin the journey back to personal sovereignty.
Listen to Episode 1 below, and let's stop surviving on autopilot, and start remembering who we were before the world told us who to be. 👇
