Olives get avoided because people assume they're too salty, too oily, too much of something.
But on keto, they're one of the most practical foods you can keep on hand.

Around 80% of their fat is oleic acid, the same heart-healthy monounsaturated fat found in olive oil. They contain oleuropein, a powerful antioxidant linked to reduced inflammation and better cardiovascular health. And at roughly 0.5g net carbs per 10 olives, they're one of the few snacks that genuinely fits without needing to count carefully.
