Life can feel overwhelming at times. Between appointments, responsibilities, and everyday challenges, it’s easy to forget what’s still possible.

Whether it's over coffee, a creative activity, a walk, or simply a conversation, spending time with fellow amputees can provide perspective, encouragement, and a sense of belonging with others who understand the journey.

These ladies in Mexico recently came together, to explore pottery, share experiences, and enjoy each other's company— it was about creating, connecting, and taking time to focus on something positive.

"A new leg and back on my feet the very same day💪

Recently, my prosthetist fitted me with a direct socket, which meant we could build and fit my prosthesis in a single session. One of the things I appreciated most was being able to walk out of the clinic wearing my new leg instead of waiting through multiple appointments. This was especially valuable to me as an athlete when quick fittings meant less time away from the track.

It is important to understand that every amputee's journey is different, and there's no one-size-fits-all approach to prosthetic care. But for me, this process was a great experience. Here's to staying mobile, staying active, and always moving forward. 🦿 " - Daniël du Plessis
