A little preparation can help minimize bruising and swelling after your treatment.
🚫 WHAT TO AVOID BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
In the 24–48 hours before your appointment, consider limiting foods, drinks and supplements that may increase bleeding or bruising:
🍷 Alcohol
Can increase the likelihood of bruising.
🧄 Large amounts of garlic
Garlic may have a mild blood-thinning effect.
🌷Ginger
Large amounts may affect platelet function and potentially increase bruising.
🌿 Turmeric/curcumin supplements
These can have an antiplatelet effect.
🐟 High-dose omega-3/fish oil supplements
May increase bleeding tendency in some people.
💊 Certain supplements & medications
Aspirin, some anti-inflammatory medications and supplements such as ginkgo, ginseng and St John’s wort may increase bruising. Do not stop any prescribed medication without speaking to your doctor.

💧 Stay well hydrated
🥗 Eat your normal, balanced meals
☀️ Avoid excessive sun exposure
🧴 Keep your skincare gentle
