Me: "oh my goodness, you have So many cavities. Are you brushing regularly?"
Patient: "yes, sometimes even 3 times a day"
Me: "your gums are also bleeding quite a bit.."
Patient: "yes well, i got stung by a hornet on the cheek a year ago."
Me: "?"
Patient: "the venom must have taken its toll.."

Guys, saw a man today who had 'perfect teeth', 12 years after braces, with all the teeth around the retainer absolutely rotten. Have them checked and cleaned regularly! Avoid this kind of catastrophe. It's easy.
