Fourteen Months Without Our Jude

Today marks 14 months since Jude gained his angel wings.

Not a single day has gone by that we haven’t thought of him, missed him, or wished we could hold him one more time. His memory lives on in our hearts, and his love continues to shape our lives in ways words can never fully express. Grief changes with time, but love never fades.

If there is one thing Jude has taught us, it is that every moment with those we love is a gift. So today, if you have your little one in your arms, hold them a little tighter. Kiss their forehead a little longer. Treasure the giggles, the sleepless nights, the cuddles, and even the chaos. These ordinary moments are the ones that become life’s greatest treasures.

Jude, you are loved beyond measure, missed beyond words, and remembered every single day.

We are Forever Yours Jude, and You’ll forever be Ours ❤️

Today marks one year since our precious baby boy, Jude, went to be with the Lord.

There are no words that can fully carry what this year has held, the silence, the longing, the memories that feel both close enough to touch and impossibly far away. Five months with you changed our lives forever, our sweet boy. You taught us a depth of love we never knew existed, and even in your absence, that love continues to grow.

We remember your tiny hands, your brave little heart, and the strength you showed through every moment. You were, and will always be, our miracle. Not a day goes by that we don’t think of you, speak your name, and carry you with us in everything we do.

Our hearts are forever full of you. We hold onto the promise that this goodbye is not forever, but only for a little while.

“ The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

Jude, our angel, our son.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Until we meet again 🤍

Today marks one year since a moment that changed everything, 18th March 2025; the day little Jude Mapaling, at just three months old, underwent open heart surgery.

Open heart surgery is one of the most delicate and complex procedures, especially for a baby. It is a moment where skilled hands work to repair what the heart cannot fix on its own. A journey that requires courage, precision, and faith. For parents, it is a place of surrender, where love meets fear, and hope becomes your anchor. You place your child in the hands of doctors, but ultimately, in the hands of God.

Jude’s journey is a reminder that even the smallest hearts can carry the greatest strength. Though his life on earth was only five months, his impact reaches far beyond time. His story is not only one of surgery or struggle, but of resilience, love, and unshakable courage.

To every parent, every family, and every individual walking a similar road. Whether you are facing surgery, loss, or the unknown, please know this: you are not alone. The weight you carry is seen. The tears you cry matter. And the strength you show, even when you feel like you have none left, is powerful.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9

Let Jude’s life be a light. Let it remind you to hold onto hope, even in the darkest moments. Let it encourage you to cherish every second, to love deeply, and to trust that even in pain, there is purpose.

Jude may no longer be here in the way we wish, but his legacy lives on; in love, in strength, and in every life his story touches.

In honour of Jude Mapaling 🤍
Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

The entire month of January is filled with Our Most Beautiful Memories with Our Jude 🤍

January 2025 was the first and last that we had him home with us for a full month.

Here’s a snippet of what life at home was like.
Safe in my Dadda’s arms while He sings to Me a song of the Man that sent Me.

We long for You, Our Precious Baby.
You are Forever in Our Hearts, On Our Minds and on our lips.
We talk about you every single day, about our memories shared, how big you would’ve been ‘a toddler’ Mama, and what you would have been like. What our days would have looked like.

And though Our hearts find It extremely diffcult to accept Our reality;
Dad and I consider ourselves so blessed to have an Angel to Guard Us every step of the way.

Forever Our Jude 🤍
