DIABETIC FOOT EDUCATION

Follow these basic steps and include regular diabetic foot screenings:
-Inspect your feet every day for any cuts, blisters, or signs of redness.
-Clean and dry your feet, paying special attention to the spaces between your toes.
-Use moisturizer on your feet but be sure to avoid applying it between your toes.
-When trimming your toenails, cut them straight across and avoid rounding the edges.
-Choose comfortable shoes that fit well and avoid walking barefoot.
-Schedule regular medical check-ups, especially if you have neuropathy, and prioritize diabetic foot screenings.
