WE CROSSED THE FINISH LINE AND TOOK HOME TWO SILVER MEDALS! 🥈🐾

What a race it’s been!

We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly grateful to announce that Paws-itive Paws-abilities has taken SECOND PLACE in BOTH categories in the Best of Pretoria 2026!

🥈 Best Veterinary Physiotherapist
🥈 Best Pet Training

From the starting line to the final sprint, your support has meant the world to us. Every vote, every share, every word of encouragement and every person who helped spread the word has been part of this incredible journey.

While we may not have crossed the finish line in first place, we feel like winners knowing we have such an amazing community cheering us on.

These awards mean so much more than a position on a podium. They celebrate our passion for improving the quality of life of our four-legged patients, helping pets and their people thrive, and doing what we love every single day.

THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! 💚

Here’s to celebrating this achievement, continuing to make a difference, and helping many more happy tails along the way. Because at PAWS, every little victory counts!

Networking with purpose, connecting with passion! 💚

This morning, Heather had the pleasure of attending the Network Like a Ninja Breakfast Connect, an inspiring opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and share the heart behind Paws-itive Paws-abilities.

From helping pets regain mobility and improve their quality of life to supporting them through rehabilitation, recovery and their golden years, Heather loved sharing not only what we do, but more importantly, WHY we do it. Because behind every treatment, every little milestone and every wagging tail is a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them.

A heartfelt thank you to Cindy Norcott for the wonderful talk, all the organisers for putting together such an awesome event, and every attendee who made the morning so enjoyable and meaningful!

Here’s to building connections, inspiring one another and finishing 2026 strong, one paw at a time!

Take a moment to breathe and relax with our boarding doggies Champ and Chloe as they wind down for the weekend and stay cool in our fountain. Remember to keep your pets hydrated and out of the heat this season 🩷🐾A good swim is always appreciated!

Tongue-Out Tuesday: Meet Cody! 🐾

If cuddles were an Olympic sport, Cody would be taking home the gold! And with that rather impressive purple tongue of his, he's certainly got a look that's all his own.

This handsome rescue German Shepherd–Collie mix is an absolute cuddle bug with one very particular way of asking for affection, he nuzzles his head between your legs and waits patiently for his pets. Honestly, how could anyone say no to that?

Cody loves attention, is an absolute sweetheart, and is wonderfully well-behaved during his sessions with us. His mommy does have one tiny confession, though… 🤫 Apparently, our handsome boy can be just a little lazy sometimes! We won't tell if you won't!

Cody visits us for help managing the discomfort associated with osteoarthritis, with the aim of improving his comfort, mobility and overall quality of life. He is an absolute sweetheart during his sessions, and we're so happy to be part of his journey towards feeling his best.

Tell us in the comments: Are you team active adventurer or team cuddles and a nap? We have a feeling Cody knows exactly where he stands!

Our darling Gypsy girl Grace is finally finished with her physio here with us and is ready to go out into the big, wide world again, well done Grace! Though we will all miss her, we're so glad she's back to her playful and adventurous self and that she's all healed up and ready to go.

Come visit us soon! Stay strong (and stay out of trouble, no more chasing ducks!), and we'll keep your playlist stocked full of Fleetwood Mac for you 🩷🩷
