Welcome back to The Plant Archives, our growing digital library dedicated to the traditional African plant medicines that Mother Earth provides, and that we work with here at the Temple.

This volume, we’re turning to Artemisia afra, one of Southern Africa’s most treasured medicinal plants.

For generations, this aromatic plant has been used in traditional medicine to support the body through coughs, colds, fevers and respiratory complaints. But its story goes beyond the physical, its long relationship with cleansing, protection and resilience gives it a powerful place in the traditional plant medicine landscape.

Artemisia afra is one of the traditional medicinal plants we work with in our signature Immune Boost formula.
