September is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and a cancer diagnosis reaches far past the physical. There's an emotional weight to it too, and often a spiritual one. No one should have to carry that alone.
APCC member organisations across South Africa understand this. They provide palliative care that supports people through diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, working alongside existing medical care rather than replacing it. That means looking after the whole person, not just the illness.
This month we recommit to raising awareness, reducing stigma and helping more people find accredited care sooner.
