Still can’t quite believe my little salon is 8 years old.
So much has changed, so much has grown, and there have been a whole lot of stories in between.

Feeling very lucky, very grateful, and very excited for what’s next.

8 years of The Room. 💛

But this journey has never been mine alone.

Behind every late night, every big decision, every stressful season, every change and every little win, there have been people quietly holding me up and helping me keep going.

To my husband, thank you for being the person behind the scenes through all of it. For believing in me and my dreams, for supporting every idea (even the crazy ones 😂), for carrying more when the salon needed more of me, and for giving me the space to be both a mommy and a business owner. I know The Room has asked a lot from our family over the years, and I truly could not have done this without you.

To my girls, my greatest blessings. 💛 Thank you for sharing your mommy, for growing up alongside The Room and for becoming such a special little part of the salon too. You remind me every day what really matters and why I work as hard as I do. I hope one day you look back and know that through all the busy days, you were always the biggest part of my why.

To my family and friends, thank you for being my village. For every bit of encouragement, every time you’ve stepped in when I needed help, every message, every celebration, every shoulder to cry on and for believing in me through all the different seasons of this journey.

And above all, thank You God. 🙏🏼 For opening doors I could never have opened on my own, for carrying me through the seasons that felt too heavy, for surrounding me with the right people and for blessing this dream far beyond what I could have imagined. Through every high and every low, Your hand has been in it all.

People see the salon, but I see all the people who helped me get here.

The Room may carry my name and my dream, but there is a whole village behind it. And after 8 years, I know more than ever how incredibly lucky I am to have mine. 💛

My heart is very full.

Roomies 🌼

Today is the salon’s 8th birthday. And although I’m doing a small celebration with my family this year, this wouldn’t have been able without all of you. Thank you for all of your loyalty and support. I’m so incredibly grateful for each of you.

I’m mostly grateful for going through all the walks of my life with you the last 8 years, and being a mommy as my current season. I know it can sometimes be challenging with the girls, but I appreciate all your love and patience with them most of all.

Cheers to many more years and many more seasons together.
