✨ A Gentle Note About Our Pool Aesthetic ✨

We’ve noticed that some guests expected our pool to have the traditional sparkling ocean-blue appearance — however, our pool was intentionally designed as a modern black pool aesthetic.

Black pools are a luxury design trend often found in boutique spas, eco-retreats, and contemporary homes. Unlike conventional blue pools, they create a calm, more earthy, reflective, almost mirror look that blends beautifully with nature and to our rustic spa environment.

A black pool:
❌ Does NOT mean the water is dirty
✅ The darker interior simply changes how the water looks

Much like:
🖤 A black marble countertop won’t look like white quartz
🖤 A natural rock pool won’t resemble a bright resort pool
🖤 Tinted glass appears darker even when perfectly clean

💡 One honest downside- Because of the dark finish:
Leaves or dust may appear more visible at times
The water won’t ever look “bright blue”

That’s simply the nature of the design.

Our pool is professionally maintained and cleaned regularly, but due to its dark interior finish, it will naturally never appear as the typical resort crystal blue in colour.
