One of the most powerful things you can do for your wellbeing each day is to get outside in natural light .

Morning light helps set your circadian rhythm—your body’s internal clock—which influences:
✨ Sleep quality
✨ Energy levels
✨ Cortisol timing
✨ Melatonin production
✨ Appetite regulation
✨ Metabolic and hormonal health

When your circadian rhythm is supported, many other systems in the body can function more efficiently.

I try to make time for morning light whenever possible. It’s a simple practice that helps me feel more grounded, connected, and aligned with the natural rhythms of the day. And it adds some super happy making energy 🌅

MAY RESET WEEK 🌿

Our next Reset Week begins Sunday evening, 24 May, after your last meal.

This reset can include fasting, but it is also about so much more than food alone.

For some, this will be a 24-hour fast. For others, a longer supported fast. And for many, this week becomes an opportunity for a deeper reset — emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically, or in the habits and patterns that no longer serve you.

The fast can become a powerful support for your personal intentions and healing priorities:
✨ Sugar and carb cravings
✨ Energy and metabolic health
✨ Nervous system regulation
✨ Emotional eating patterns
✨ Mindset and clarity
✨ Burnout and overwhelm
✨ Reconnecting with self-discipline, calm, and balance

Preparing for a fast is just as important as the fast itself.
In the days before, we focus on reducing sugars and refined carbs, helping the body transition more gently into a fat-burning and ketogenic state while supporting the nervous system.

During the reset week, we’ll focus on:
✨ Hydration and minerals
✨ Gentle nervous system support
✨ Intentions and mindfulness
✨ Understanding your body’s signals

Time moves so quickly… and before I knew it, weeks had passed without me really showing up here.

Truthfully, I’ve been moving through my own season of resistance, reflection, healing and recalibration. But I’m also reminded that the places where we feel challenged often hold the greatest opportunity for breakthrough, growth and transformation.

As we move into next week’s Reset Fast, it feels like the right time to reconnect — not from perfection, but from authenticity.

For those who are new here, I offer Nutritional Therapy, Functional Medicine support, SCIO balances, fasting guidance, and holistic coaching for those navigating everything from gut health concerns, blood sugar imbalance and diabetes, to immune issues, chronic stress, fatigue, burnout, emotional eating, and the often overwhelming experience of navigating illness and healing.
