Have you ever wondered how exactly laser tattoo removal works? 🤔

At Berry Smooth we use advanced PicoSecond laser technology to safely and effectively remove unwanted tattoo ink.

Here’s how it works:
⚡️The Pico laser delivers ultra-short pulses of energy (trillionths of a second)
⚡️This energy targets the tattoo ink while minimising impact on surrounding skin
⚡️The ink absorbs the laser energy and shatters into microscopic particles
⚡️Your body’s immune system then gradually flushes these particles away.
⚡️After a series of treatments, the tattoo becomes lighter as more ink is broken down and removed.

The lasers job is to break up the ink - the rest is up to your body and immune system.😉
This is why multiple sessions are needed.

On average it takes about 6-12 sessions, but the exact number varies from person to person depending on factors such as ink colour, depth, skin type, and immune response.
