I have always just trained in my retired running shoes or barefoot. Recently I got given a pair of Crazytrain's functional training shoes. The toe guard is hard and the sole of the shoe is flatter and firmer, but the shoe is still cushioned and very comfortable. I can't tell you the difference it has made to gyming. Things like Bulgarian squats, burpees and barbell spilt lunges. My toes used to get so jammed and sore because the running shoes toe cap was too soft. The flatter sole means I don't have to take my shoes off to deadlift and I am just all round much happier doing gym work in my CrazyTrains

3 pairs of adidas that you shld own!!!!

Pair number 1 -The beautiful Adizero Adios 6

Don't get me wrong, I love my Bostons because they are so light and mold to your feet. But, sometimes on longer runs OR my current problem of being heavier after holidays, i feel like I need a bit more cushion.
I was given a pair of the beaiutiful neutral coloured Adizero Adios 6 These shoes are the perfect combo of light weight with a bit more cushioning and support for my unconditioned January running body. I like the lace set up and the new design of the tongue of the shoe. If you have run distance you will know that after an hr on the road your laces somehow start shrinking and everything becomes very bunched and tight around your forefoot and the tongue of the shoe often digs into you.. Que the breathable material of this shoe and its short thin tongue. My shoe stays as tighht or loose as the way I tie it. Can't wait to run a marathon in these shoes ๐Ÿ˜€
