Zaituna Living in harmony with nature Olive oil has been mentioned in all the heavenly books. From here it spread to Greece, Spain and North Africa.

A Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH says” eat the oil and anoint with it because it has healing for seventy diseases.” The olive tree originated in the Levant (Syria,Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine) and was cultivated from around 3000BC as a major source of revenue because of its culinary and medicinal properties and it’s oil was used in the production of soap. Today olive oil is recommended for cont

rolling heart disease, preventing constipation and colon cancer, and, as an anti oxidant protecting the skin cells against damage caused by over exposure to the sun, environmental stress and pollution which are known to accelerate the ageing process of the skin. It also assists in improving the skin tone. The ZAITUNA range of creams were developed from old Arab recipes from the Middle East, Berber tribes of North Africa and from Sudan. These recipes use olive oil as a base but are modified to include other natural ingredients and essential oils to suit specific purposes. They can be used in conjunction with the olive soap bars especially imported because of their moisture retention and anti bacterial and anti fungal qualities.
