It has been a while since I posted here, if I remember well we had or maybe I had anxiety about high school.

We have been doing quite well in High School. Even passed term 1 only failing Social Sciences, he always did bad with that.

We are now studying on our own for the very 1st time,(not entirely) we always had tutors for all subjects. We now have a tutor for Maths and English.

We continue to take Ritalin and Epsom salts baths. We will be doing a detox bath, for the very 1st time this week. I will come back and share how the bath was.

Now we prepare for the last quarter of the year and end of the year exams. Oh dear Lord it is not easy and it is very emotional but we will persevere

My son will be going to high school next year. The anxiety I have is beyond me. I ask myself so many questions. Will he cope, is it not too much for him. I am scared but it's a journey we have to travel together. Will he not get bullied or be a bully 😔 😪

During this hectic time of the year, busy time, a lot of changes. How does your child with ASD cope? How are they coping with change?

We know our children are children of habit and routine. With all these changes, how do you as parents cope? How do you handle meltdowns?

I am watching an Autism series, Atypical. The mom in this series is a house wife. She looks after her son and takes care of him. Now the boy has gone to College. Bow lady feels that she has a lot of time and likes to fuff around her child

I hope we give our kids room to grow and become themselves just a little space to be themselves. And learn to let go a little I know we love and over worry

I don't know what I'm writing but I pray I get to feel the anxiety of Bukha going to University and become independent.

I wish that for him 🥰🥰

I'm watching this series on Netflix it's called Atypical. These are nice but they talk to High functioning children with Autism

I would love a series that spoke to all that autism is. From low to high functioning

I have always been a fan of celebrating progress and not perfection

So don't expect perfection from you children but celebrate each milestone as it comes

My child breaks things, he is rough man. Almost everything he touches he breaks.

Your children, are they gentle with things? He broke my phone, when he walks he bumps into things. Does this come with autism?
