Some journeys change the way we think, others change the way we live.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve completed 36 hours of Vinyasa yoga teacher training, each 8 session an invitation to grow, not only physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.”

After 4 years of deep healing and self-discovery, this training feels like another beautiful piece of the puzzle finding its place. It’s been incredible to witness my body becoming stronger, my confidence growing, and my capacity to receive, integrate and share this wisdom with others expands every day.

My heart is filled with gratitude for our incredible teacher Patrycja Mochocka | Thrive Coach , whose presence wisdom and way of holding space has allowed each of us to meet ourselves with greater honesty, compassion, and courage. I’m equally grateful to every person walking this journey alongside me. Your commitment, your vulnerability, your laughter, and showing up each week has created something truly special. There is so much unfolding at the moment. A new home, a new province, continued studies and new ways of serving. It feels like life is opening new doors, one step at a time, and I’m deeply grateful for every lesson along the way.

Will keep you posted , beautiful things are growing and I can’t wait to share them with you.

“Coming Home to Myself”

10 months ago, I thought I was travelling to a place. Instead, I was travelling home to myself. The Valley of a Thousand Hills became a mirror, gently reflecting parts of me waiting to be seen, felt, and remembered. The mist taught me that clarity isn’t always needed to take the next step. The golden sun reminded me to soften again, after seasons of survival. The forests whispered stillness. The rivers taught flow. The mountains showed steadiness. The ocean reminded me that depth and surrender can exist side by side. Along the way, souls crossed my path. Friends, teachers, mirrors, each one a doorway. For the past four years, I’ve walked a path of healing, remembering, unraveling, and returning. This chapter was both a season of learning and a season of embodiment, where every lesson slowly moved from my mind into my body, becoming something I no longer simply understood, but deeply lived.

The nervous system found safety. The heart remembered trust. The body became home. Perhaps one of the greatest gifts of this land was the reminder that everything is temporary. The moment I stopped asking, “How do I make this my forever?” and instead, began asking, “What is this moment here to teach me?” everything changed. Presence replaced expectation. Gratitude softened attachment. Life became something to receive, rather than something to hold onto. As this chapter comes to a close, my heart overflows with gratitude for the streaming rivers, the rolling mist, the ancient forests, the endless hills, the mountains, the ocean, the birdsong greeting each sunrise, the duikers, the horses, the reptiles, the towering trees. and the untamed beauty woven through this extraordinary land. To every soul who walked beside me, whether for a fleeting moment or an entire season, thank you. Each encounter became part of this remembering. Arriving here, I believed I was searching for a place to belong.

Leaving here, I know that belonging was never found in a destination. It was cultivated within. As I step into this next chapter, I don’t carry only memories. A quieter nervous system. A more open heart. A deeper trust in life. A profound gratitude for every path that has led me here. The journey continues, not because I’m searching for myself anymore, but because I now know, that home is not a place. Home is a way of being. With a heart full of gratitude, I walk gently into the next chapter.
