Knowledge shared today shapes the success of tomorrow.🐷

Last week, Trouw Nutrition South Africa was proud to be part of a successful week of swine industry engagement in Zimbabwe.

The week kicked off with a Back to Basics Swine Training session, followed by the Swine Day and Carcass Grading Awards in collaboration with the Pig Industry Board and Surrey Group.

From discussing water as an often-overlooked nutrient to highlighting the importance of gut health, the week was a great reminder that success starts with getting the basics right.

🐄 Two insightful days at the Red Dane Dairy School, held on 21–22 April 2026 in Zimbabwe, where farmers gathered to gain practical knowledge on dairy farming and farm management.

🤝 Trouw Nutrition South Africa was proud to attend in support of our valued distributor, Red Dane Agri Solutions, and the important work they do in empowering producers through knowledge.

🥛 Day 1 featured our very own Ruminant Team Lead, André Pienaar sharing insights on safe milk to reach calf targets, focusing on quality nutrition and strong calf-rearing foundations.

🌱 On Day 2, André Pienaar continued with when are minerals enough?, exploring the role of mineral nutrition in animal health, productivity, and profitability.
