Dear Health Enthusiast,
As winter winds down, I want to share a powerful wellness practice with you: a one-day dry fast, once every 10 days. This routine can provide your liver and entire system with an immune and energy boost, leaving you with a renewed zest for life. Dry fasting is an effective way to detoxify, especially in the world of 2024, clearing out dysfunctional cells and encouraging the regeneration of healthier ones through a process called autophagy. I was inspired to try this method by Dr. Berg from the U.S., and the results have been truly transformative.
Personally, I've found this approach to be both manageable and highly effective. Over the past six weeks, I've completed five days of dry fasting. With each fast, I’ve noticed cumulative benefits, including increased flexibility and a radiant sense of well-being. The meal after the fast tastes especially delicious!
It's recommended to do a dry fast every 10 days or so, with some people choosing to do it weekly.
How to Dry Fast:
Timing: Eat and drink nothing from sunrise to sunset. Ideally, this starts after dinner the previous night. I allow myself water during the night, but once morning comes, I avoid all food and drink until sunset.
Breaking the Fast: It’s best to break your fast with cruciferous vegetables like Broccoli sprouts, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cauliflower, Bok choy and Kale. These are rich in sulforaphane, which supports liver function. You can also include red meat or fish if you're not vegetarian or vegan.
Tips for Success:
If you start to feel nauseous during the fast, consider taking bile salts or Tudca to clear out bile sludge. You can then restart your fast on another day, with bile salts or Tudca beforehand if needed. However, if you've been following a healthy diet, you may not require these supplements.
Additionally, I recommend doing a parasite cleanse with Ozonides twice a year. You can order Ozonides directly from me.
I'm available for online and distance wellness scans, as well as in-person sessions in Kalk Bay/Clovelly, Cape Town.
Wishing you vibrant health and vitality,
Willem Smuts
