We are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of one of our retired team members, a friend and family, Geraldine Kessner, known to many in Franschhoek as "Antie Gerry". Gerrry worked for many years for us after I convinced her to move to Franschhoek and open her own business Gerry K's. Gerry often took charge of organising refreshments for fellow fire fighters when the need arose with the big Franschhoek fire years back. She touched many a heart and was a dedicated community servant. RIP my friend...
