Carpe Diem School would like to express our sincere appreciation to Fluidra South Africa for their generous donation of two swimming pool filters and a pump to our school.

Our swimming pool is an important resource that supports the physical development and overall well-being of many of our learners. This valuable donation will help us maintain a safe and functional pool environment, ensuring that our learners can continue to benefit from hydrotherapy and water-based activities.

⚽🏐 Carpe Diem School is proud of our talented athletes! 🏐⚽

Congratulations to Austin Williams, Mikaela K**k, Stefan Plaatjies, and Ooyonoo Mzayifani, who represented the EDEN SAII Team at the WCSAII (Western Cape Sports Association for the Intellectually Impaired) trials held in Cape Town today.

Austin, Stefan and Ooyonoo participated in soccer, while Mikaela proudly represented the team in netball. Their dedication, sportsmanship and enthusiasm made Carpe Diem School incredibly proud.

A special congratulations to Austin Williams, who is in contention for selection to the WCSAII team that will participate in the national championships in Limpopo later this year. What an exciting achievement!

A heartfelt thank you to Teacher Zelda, who accompanied the athletes throughout the trials, and to Mr Assisipo, who ensured that our learners travelled safely to and from Oudtshoorn. Your support and commitment are greatly appreciated.

Well done to all our athletes for flying the Carpe Diem flag high. We are proud of each one of you and wish Austin all the best for the next stage of the selection process! 💙💛

⛳💙 What a fantastic day at the Carpe Diem School Golf Day held at George Golf Club!

As part of the day's activities, our Carpe Diem Golf Team had the opportunity to showcase their putting skills in a fun and challenging putt-putt style competition. Our learners approached each challenge with enthusiasm, determination, and plenty of smiles, demonstrating great focus and sportsmanship throughout the day.

Events like these provide valuable opportunities for our learners to develop confidence, build friendships, and experience the joy of participating in sport in an inclusive and supportive environment.

We are incredibly proud of our golfers and grateful to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success.

Carpe Diem Skool wil graag ons opregte waardering uitspreek teenoor ACVV Mosselbaai, en spesifiek Kenani en Mariana Lategan, vir die ruim skenking van 10 tweedehandse rolstoelbasketbalstoele.

Hierdie stoele sal 'n groot verskil maak in die lewens van ons leerders deur meer geleenthede vir sportdeelname, ontwikkeling en pret te skep. Met 'n bietjie liefde en Ons sien ons daarna uit om hierdie stoele op die baan te kry!

🏗️ Building, Testing and Learning with Teacher Amanda! 🏗️

Teacher Amanda's class explored the fascinating world of natural and man-made structures, focusing on what makes a structure strong, stable, and able to withstand different forces.

Using construction materials and lots of teamwork, learners designed and built their own structures, testing how height, shape, and support affect stability. As their confidence grew, so did their creations – from simple geometric shapes to an impressive tower reaching almost to the classroom ceiling!

This hands-on activity encouraged problem-solving, creativity, critical thinking, and perseverance as learners worked together to improve and strengthen their designs.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork, and engineering skills demonstrated by our learners. Well done to everyone in Teacher Amanda's class! 👏✨
