When children learn to recognise, understand and manage their emotions, they are better equipped to cope with challenges, build positive relationships, communicate their needs and thrive at home and school.

Lianca Fourie is also a founding member of Therapy Hub Garden Route. She is a registered counsellor registered with the HPCSA with a speciality Masters degree in Play Therapy (MA Psych).

I believe that play is a child’s natural language. Through carefully facilitated play sessions, children can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and work through challenges at their own pace.

My mission is to create a safe, nurturing space where every child feels heard, valued, and empowered to express themselves freely.

When I’m not in the playroom, you’ll find me exploring the beautiful Garden Route with my family. I believe in the importance of connection, nature, and finding joy in the small moments.

Lindsay is a Paediatric Speech-Language Therapist and also one of the 3 founders of Therapy Hub Garden Route.

She works in early intervention, using a child-led, play-based approach to support communication, feeding, auditory and literacy development.

Lindsay is a trained SOS feeding therapist for picky eaters and an Oral Myofunctional therapist.

She has a strong interest in literacy and dyslexia, helping children become confident readers and spellers using Science of Reading principles.

Lindsay finds joy in supporting communication, connection, and confidence in children through evidence-based, play-based therapy.

Of course, no team gathering would be complete without good food! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast together while getting to know one another, sharing stories, and building connections.

We’re loving our beautiful new space and are so excited about the journey ahead. Creating time to connect, collaborate, and support one another is such an important part of who we are.
