Not getting enough sleep doesn't just make you tired — it affects your eyes too.

Poor sleep can cause:
😶 Eye twitching (myokymia)
🔴 Redness and irritation
💧 Dry, itchy eyes
😵 Light sensitivity
🌫️ Blurry or strained vision

Aim for 7–9 hours. Your eyes do a lot of repair work while you rest.

🕶️ Are your sunglasses actually hurting your eyes?

Did you know?

Wearing dark lenses without 100% UV protection can do more damage than wearing no shades at all.

When it's dark, your pupils dilate (open wider). If your lenses don't have a UV block, you’re actually letting more harmful UV light straight into your eyes—increasing the risk of cataracts and long-term damage. 😬

How to stay safe this summer:
☀️ Look for tags that explicitly say "100% UV Protection" or "UV 400."
☀️ Bring your favorite pair into our clinic! We can test them to make sure your eyes are truly protected.
