I've been away for a while. So, I thought I'd reintroduce myself.

Before my long and much needed break from socials, I was Michaela Lotz. I'm now returning as Michaela Heron.🤭

I'm a nutritionist who is passionate about helping people achieve a healthy balance with their lifestyles.⚖️

I specialize in normal & and clinical nutrition. I assist with weight loss/gain, pregnancy nutrition, infant and children's nutrition, and chronic lifestyle disease nutrition.

A lot happened while I was away. I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl, got married to my soul mate and best friend of almost 12 years, studied more (still plan on studying even more🤓), and moved house again.

I'm excited to be back and to share my experience, my pregnancy and birth story, and TONS of nutrition, health, and fitness content with you all!🦋

Chocolate spread on toast with a twist.🍓

What you'll need:
-2 slices high protein bread
-1 tbs of chocolate spread
-1 to 2 strawberries
-1 tsp chia seeds

How to make magic happen:
Toast your bread to your liking. Spread the 1 tbsp of chocolate spread between the 2 slices. Sprinkle chia seeds over chocolate spread and top with strawberry slices.

Healthy means balance not restriction.

I don't often post personal things on my page, but this is a pretty big one.🤰🏻

The Guilt Free family is growing!👶🏻

We are so excited to meet our baby girl November 2022!💕

The months are flying past and it feels like we found out just yesterday. Unfortunately I've been a lot quieter on social media (energy levels are just not the same during 😅).

Nonetheless, business has continued as normal outside of social media. I'm still here for all your health and nutrition needs!🍏

CHICKEN . STIR-FRY . WITH . A . TWIST🍊

A simple and delicious recipe for anyone to try out!

What you'll need:
-2 chicken breasts, skinless and cubed
-5 asparagus, chopped into thirds
-1/4 cup button mushrooms, halved
-1 tsp garlic
-1/2 small orange, sliced thin
-1/2 onion, chopped
-1 tbs honey
-1 tbs canola oil
-salt & pepper

How to make magic happen:
Heat oil in a non-stick pan, turn down to medium heat; and put garlic and onions in pan for roughly 10 minutes.

Toss cubed chicken and into the pan and stir occasionally for even cooking; do this for 5 minutes on low heat.

Add asparagus, mushrooms, salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes before adding honey and orange slices. Cook on medium heat until chicken is completely cooked.

Remove orange slices before serving, and serve with 1/4 cup cooked rice of noodles.🍲
