If your arm feels heavy, do not wait to see if it passes.
Lymphoedema is swelling that can develop after lymph nodes have been removed or damaged during breast cancer treatment. It can appear months, or even years, after surgery. It does not resolve on its own, but it is very manageable when it is caught early.

A compression garment only works if it fits. Too loose does nothing. Too tight makes it worse. It should be measured and fitted properly, not bought off a shelf.

This Women's Month, we are talking about the thing nobody talks about.
After a mastectomy, most women are told what was removed. Far fewer are told what comes next. So they wait, and they carry it quietly.
