You know your ID number, your PIN and probably the neighbour's Wi-Fi password... but do you know your blood pressure?
โ ๏ธ High blood pressure is one of the leading risk factors for stroke, and it often has no symptoms at all. Many people feel perfectly healthy and have no idea that their blood pressure is too high. That's why it's so important to know your numbers. The only way to find out is to have your blood pressure measured โ and it only takes a few minutes.
As we count down to World Stroke Day on 29 October, we're encouraging everyone in the neighbourhood to get checked. Visit your nearest The Local Choice Pharmacy and ask about a quick blood pressure check, and chat to your pharmacist about what your numbers mean and what to do next. ๐ซถ
